No.of companies in each market cap bucket almost doubled in last 4 years Investors, much like balloon blowers, find themselves questioning: "Is there still room for growth, or are we nearing the bursting point? After looking at this chart, one may call it "Frothiness" or "attractiveness"While it's difficult to predict returns with certainty, you can indeed manage and assess your risk through optimal asset allocation.#assetallocation #riskmanagement #returns #equities #fixedincome #commodities #realestate

Professional advice = Peace of MindRecently, my wife and I decided to give our existing home a new look. Like many families, we wanted to save money by choosing a contractor offering budget-friendly rates without compromising quality. We proceeded with a contractor recommended by a family friend. However, as the renovation progressed, it became evident that we had made a mistake. The laminates we chose ended up with many scratches on the surface due to the contractor's careless approach, and the colors we picked clashed horribly with the overall decor. It was a frustrating and disappointing experience, to say the least.Reflecting on this, I realized how similar it was to managing our investment portfolio. Like many of us, we initially considered handling it ourselves to save on advisory or distribution fees. But just like with our home renovation, our lack of expertise might lead to less-than-ideal outcomes. Without the guidance of a professional advisor, one may struggle to choose the right investment schemes and could end up with a portfolio not aligned with our risk appetite or long-term goals.Just like the careless contractor who compromised our home's aesthetics, a misguided investment strategy could leave us feeling uneasy and uncertain about our financial future. In hindsight, I've come to appreciate the value of seeking professional advice. While it may come with an additional cost upfront, the peace of mind and confidence it brings are priceless. Whether it's renovating your home or managing your investments, sometimes it's worth investing a little more to ensure the best possible outcome in the long run.#professionaladvice #mutualfunds #advisor

Passive funds surpass active funds in US market for the first time in history.According to Morningstar, passive US mutual funds and ETFs held $13.3tn in assets at the end of Dec 2023, while active funds had $13.2tn. This is a remarkable achievement for passive investing, which has gained popularity due to its low-cost investing. Passive funds aim to track a benchmark index, while active funds rely on fund managers to pick and choose investments. Passive funds in India still holds 17% market share as of Dec 2023.#passiveinvesting #activeinvesting #funds #etfs #mutualfunds #investing #finance #morningstar

Why Nifty 50 Equal Weight Index Fund is needed in your portfolio?Today's downfall in Nifty 50 is triggered by HDFC Bank. The stock is down by 7% so far and it has around 13%+ weightage. It had a spillover effect on other banking stocks, too. This concentration risk can be mitigated well by investing in an Equal Weighted Index fund.Invest today in SBI MUTUAL FUND 's Nifty 50 Equal Weight Index FundGanesh S
