How do you make chocolate covered pretzel rods?

  1. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper, wax paper, or silicon baking mat (my favorite thing ever).
  2. Using a microwave safe container (I recommend these dipping tubes by Wilton) fill 3/4 of the way with chocolate melts of choice. Place in microwave and melt for 1 minute. Stir and melt in additional 30 second increments until fully melted.
  3. Working with one pretzel rod at a time, dip into melted chocolate and place on prepared baking sheet. Continue with remaining pretzel rods until all have been covered with chocolate. You may have to reheat chocolate in the microwave to keep it a silky consistency.
  4. Place in refrigerator for chocolate to set.
